Earlier this month, Maryknoll lay missioners participated in the #WhyService campaign Catholic Volunteer Network organized for their March 7-12, 2021 Volunteer Fest.

Missioners from Tanzania, South Sudan, Haiti, Cambodia, Brazil, El Salvador and the U.S.-Mexico border participated by answering why they chose a life of service. Click on the photos below to see how they answered.

Have you ever thought about making a full-time commitment to a life of service? Explore this website to find out more how you could join us in mission.

Why service? Why Maryknoll Lay Missioners?

Maryknoll Lay Missioners
Compelled by faith to engage with people across cultures and ethnicities, Maryknoll lay missioners live, love and work with communities on the margins to promote active nonviolence and healing.
