Rick Dixon is a Maryknoll Lay Missioner serving in El Salvador since 2012. He recently authored an article in Maryknoll Magazine sharing how one of his projects in mission, a library in La Esperanza, helps support kids in poverty-stricken neighborhoods and develops family literacy. The library project was created after a participant of a Friends Across Borders MKLM immersion trip saw the conditions of La Esperanza and started sending books to Rick and his lay missioner colleagues. Click here to read the article, “A Library of Hope.”
