Maryknoll lay missioner Francis Wayne, a native of Owensboro, Kentucky, sat down with a local reporter during a short visit home after serving in Kenya for three and a half years. He is returning to Kenya for another mission stint in July.

The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer delved into Francis’ life story, call to mission, and current ministry in vocational training, remedial academics, and prison ministry at the Marianist Technical Institute and Shimu la Tewa Prison.
