Michael Meehan
Michael joined the Board of Directors in 2025, and hopes to see MKLM flourish and expand its efforts to reject violence, injustice, and exclusion by accompanying our brothers and sisters in need wherever God calls us to be.
Michael lives in St. Louis, MO with his wife of 37 years, their son, and four feline rescues where he serves as the Chief Care Officer for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. He is a clinical psychologist by training, but has been a nonprofit executive in the child and family space for more than 25 years. Currently, he oversees and supports the care, treatment, and services provided by more than 60 programs and impacting 100,000 lives annually in the 11 counties of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Michael has a daughter living in Chicago, is a lector at his home parish of Holy Spirit in St. Louis, and enjoys camping, spending time with family, and sipping a good Irish whiskey. He is a diehard St. Louis Cardinal fan and collector of autographed Cardinal memorabilia. He is a big believer in being the change he wants to see in the world, and admits to being deeply humbled being a part of the incredible work of MKLM.
