Irene King
Mission Services Director
Irene oversaw the recruitment, admissions, and training of lay missioners along with the Mission Services team. Previously, Irene served as director of Villanova’s Center for Service and Social Justice, and director of service learning at Sarah Lawrence and Manhattan College. Irene led college students on learning trips to Nicaragua, Honduras, Cuba, West Virginia, Alabama, and the U.S.-Mexico border. She was a Jesuit Volunteer in Jackson, Mississippi.
Irene left Maryknoll Lay Missioners in 2022 after four years of service.
