Catch me in my scurrying
A Lenten prayer (from Guerrillas of Grace) by Ted Loder
A Lenten prayer (from Guerrillas of Grace) by Ted Loder
That we might become people of Gospel nonviolence, who allow God to disarm our hearts of the violence within us.
‘Let us burn incense, not children. Let us break bread, not bodies. Let us plant olive groves, not cemeteries.’
Grant that my heart may beat stronger for love of you in the poor, abandoned and downtrodden …
O God, help us to persevere in nonviolence and to abolish the causes of war from our own hearts and the face of the earth.
A missioner’s prayer of thanks for opened eyes, lives and hearts.
A Lenten poem
O God, take me and plant me like a seed. Plant me deep in your love.
How a stranger helped me encounter God in our mutual vulnerability
Give me, O Lord, the courage to build peace with all people.
‘Goodness is stronger than evil. Love is stronger than hate. …’
