Featuring Angelica Ruppe, working with young women who have a disability or are otherwise at risk in Musoma, Tanzania; Ilona Helmholz, teaching at St. Agnes Primary School in Voi, Kenya; Loyce Veryser, a high school math teacher in Mwanza, Tanzania; and Mike Garr, who teaches catering at a vocational school in Mombasa, Kenya.
Compelled by faith to engage with people across cultures and ethnicities, Maryknoll lay missioners live, love and work with communities on the margins to promote active nonviolence and healing.
