Mission Educator – Promoters and Administrative Coordinator – Maryknoll Mission Education

The Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers foster a “culture of mission” and support “communities of missionary disciples” through their mission formation program. They are currently hiring for three positions: Mission Educator – Promoters work primarily with the teams and projects focused on Young Adults, Hispanic Leaders, Catechists and Teachers. There are currently two positions open: one based primarily in Seattle, and the other located in either Houston or El Paso. Both require occasional travel and allow for some remote work.

The full-time Administrative Coordinator supports mission education, promotion programs and projects locally and nationally, particularly with young adults, Hispanic leaders and frontline parish and diocesan ministers. Successful candidates must have strong organization and communication skills and be self-motivated, organized, resourceful, and flexible.

The Chicago Province of the Society of the Divine Word, one of the largest Catholic missionary congregation of priests and brothers, located in Techny, Illinois, has an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in continuing his or her management career in church-related administration. This full-time salaried position reports directly to the Provincial Superior who will count on this person to support him in many areas of administration and highly confidential provincial matters.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent written and oral communication skills, knowledge of standard office computer programs, maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively. Strong background in Catholic theology and familiarity with canon law, along with 5 plus years of middle to upper management in church or church-related administration.

Friends in Solidarity, located in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a dynamic president to lead the organization, the U.S. partner to Solidarity with South Sudan. The candidate must be familiar with the culture and values of Catholic congregations of women and men religious. Friends in Solidarity’s next president will be an accomplished relationship builder and effective communicator with a demonstrated ability to inspire others to join this critically important ministry. The successful candidate needs to possess a working knowledge of Sub-Saharan Africa and a deep awareness of Catholic Social Teaching.

Acquiring Editor – Orbis Books

Orbis Books is the book publishing ministry of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers. The Orbis Books Acquisitions Editor develops authors and book projects for undergraduate and graduate level studies in key subject areas including ethics, theology, biblical studies, missiology, and gender studies, as well as religious studies for the general reader. The successful candidate will be able to solicit, develop, and deliver production-ready MSS for a minimum of 12 titles per year. Reporting directly to the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, the Acquisitions Editor also attends key professional conferences, contributes to the development of a balanced editorial program, and collaborates with Marketing and Sales to maximize outreach to key constituencies and markets.

Director for Catholic Campus Ministry & Ministry Coordinator – DePaul University

The Director of Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) provides leadership for Catholic religious life at DePaul, supporting student-oriented programs and fostering student spiritual engagement and faith formation in the Catholic Vincentian tradition. The CCM Director supports and leads a vibrant Catholic faith community of students at DePaul, providing opportunities for a sense of belonging, inclusion, service, and faith development and leads a staff team to provide a space for students to write or re-write the mystic, prophetic and communal narratives so essential to understanding Catholic identity at all times.

Reporting to the Director for Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM), the Ministry Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing CCM programs and events that focus on Catholic Social Teaching and Justice issues through the Vincentian Catholic lens. The Ministry Coordinator facilitates multi-faith dialogue and engagement and supervises a team of students who are formed and educated in the Church’s Catholic Social Thought.

Good Shepherd Volunteers (GSV) responds to this challenge by connecting recent college graduates to these needs in our communities through a one-year service program. GSV is seeking an energetic Director who is eager to apply his/her fundraising, leadership, and administrative skills in a new and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will meet fundraising and program development goals, strengthening the future of the organization.
