There’s an important, yet simple, way to ensure that our missioners continue, and expand, the many healing programs that they provide to the world’s poorest communities. This simple activity is called recurring grant-making—also known as recurring gifts.
When you choose to make monthly, or quarterly, gifts, there are multiple benefits for you as our donor, as well as to our missioners—a community of individuals serving in the world’s most impoverished communities. The benefits are:
- You will receive monthly communications from a missioner via print or email (or both).
- Your questions will be answered during interactive, online meetings with missioners.
- You will become part of a community that uplifts those that societies have pushed down.
- Your expanded global impact will be flexible and convenient as we automatically process gifts on a date that you choose.
- You will receive annual giving summaries because your support is 100% tax deductible.
Becoming a Companion in Mission member offers added peace of mind to those with donor-advised funds (DAF). Creating a recurring DAF grant to Maryknoll Lay Missioners strengthens your commitment to marginalized groups using dollars that have already been set aside.

Recurring giving helps Maryknoll Lay Missioners in multiple ways. These gifts and grants sustain the work of missioners by spreading out fundraising dollars. A steady stream of financial support allows leadership and the missioners to make more efficient use of time and resources. Plus, recurring donations provides opportunities for long-term, strategic thinking on how to better serve the many communities that are suffering.
Your monthly commitment ensures that the educational, medical, and faith formation support that is so desperately needed continues to be provided by the missioners.
