Mark the Date – Jubilee 2019

We want to invite you and your Maryknoll Lay Missioners classmates to come together to celebrate a special anniversary of your sending to mission with Maryknoll Lay Missioners and a time to catch up with your classmates. You will have the opportunity to share with other classes that will celebrate. This year we will celebrate 40 years of sending of the classes of 1979, 35 years of the class of 1984, 30 years of the class of 1989, 25 years of the class of 1994, 20 years of the class of 1999, 15 years of the class of 2004 and 10 years of the class of 2009. We hope you can join the celebration and reconnect with your class.
The jubilee is also a time to see how Maryknoll Lay Missioners has evolved as an independent organization, and what our current commitments and the projections for the future are. You and your classmates are an important part of this sacred history and our future. We hope you will be there!
The first weekend of August 2019 we will honor Susan Nagele, Class of Fall 1984; Debbie Northern, Class of 1999; and Minh Nguyen, Class of 2009. We will also remember the late Jean Donovan, who was part of the Class of 1979 and, together with Sisters Ita Ford, Maura Clarke and Dorothy Kazel, martyred in El Salvador on Dec. 2, 1980.
During the weekend there will be a time to share with one another and hear each other’s stories, reconnect with friends at the Society and Congregation, learn more about Maryknoll Lay Missioners, YOUR organization today and participate in Latin America Festival. Don’t miss this marvelous time!
