Earlier this month, Louise Locke, who is serving as a Maryknoll lay missioner in Cochabamba, was featured in an episode of the “Go Forth” podcast of the U.S. Catholic Mission Association.
In her 27-minute interview with Ben OuYang, Louise shares her vocation journey, how and why she joined Maryknoll Lay Missioners, and talks about what gives her joy in her three ministries in Cochabamba.
“God is always working on our growth,” she has found, “and always providing new opportunities and challenges for us.” Being a missioner overseas, she says, has deepened her faith and trust. “God is always there to meet you and you have to learn to depend on God completely.”
